Travel Tots is an Australian-first service for stress free family holidays founded by Marianne Marchesi: mum of two, lawyer and entrepreneur.

The idea for Travel Tots was inspired by Marianne’s own experience. Marianne and her husband, Jarrod, love to travel but found it too hard with kids - all the mental load, packing, lugging things around. And that’s before you’ve even arrived!

Travel Tots removes the stress, overwhelm and mental load of travelling with kids by delivering and setting up everything you need at your accommodation - ready when you arrive, packed up when you leave. So, you can start your holiday the moment you walk in.

As a mum-founded brand, our priority is safety, cleanliness and quality. All of our approved equipment and products have been carefully selected with this in mind, so you can travel lighter and enjoy stress-free holidays.

What we offer

We offer two main packages, both with all the essentials you need when travelling with kids. You can select additional add-ons (such as steriliser machine, baby carrier and more) via our quote form.

  • We have two main packages:

    1. Base Package: includes portacot, pram, nappies, wipes + complimentary high-chair or floor seat.

    2. Premium Package: as per the Base Package, plus high-chair, safety gates for stairs, playmat, and age/location-appropriate books and toys.

    The Base Package is great for hotels or smaller rooms, and the Premium Package is perfect for homes, AirBnBs or visiting the grandparents.

  • Step 1: Select your package plus any add-ons by completing our quote form.

    Step 2: We’ll confirm availability and contact you to book it in and take payment.

    Step 3: On your day of arrival, we’ll have everything set up and ready for when you arrive.

    Step 4: Enjoy your stay! Any enquiries can be directed to a Travel Tots concierge, whose details will be left at your accommodation.

    Step 5: Travel Tots packs up and collects everything after you’ve checked out.

  • Yes! We have a range of extra items to add to your stay (priced individually), including steriliser, sterile water machine, white noise/sound machine, blackout blinds, eating apparatus (kids bowls, cutlery and bibs). If you don’t see your item listed, please contact us and we’ll do our best to help!

Bookings

  • No. Whether it’s one night or ten, you deserve to travel lighter!

  • You can either individually select add-on items during your booking, or you can book the same additional package for an extra $40 per night. Contact us if you need any assistance and we’re happy to help.

  • Generally, no - our primary mission is to reduce the mental load for parents while travelling, so we’ve designed our service so that it’s one easy booking. However, if you have any special requirements, such as accessibility needs, please contact us and we’ll do our best to help.

  • Between the revolving door of childcare viruses and unexpected life events, we understand that things happen. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while making sure other families don’t miss out.

    • More than 72 hours (3 days) before your booking arrival date - full refund.

    • Between 48 and 72 hours before your booking arrival date - 50% refund.

    • No refund is provided for cancellations or booking changes occurring less than 48 hours before arrival or for no shows.

About our equipment/products

  • We only use equipment that meets Australian Safety Standards and has been quality checked by us.

  • Your choice! Let us know in the quote form which brand, size and type of nappies your child wears and that’s what we’ll provide. If there are any issues with availability, we’ll contact you.

  • Yes absolutely, they’re yours for you to keep. However, if you’d like to leave them behind, we will collect and donate them to The Nappy Collective – a charity that distributes free nappies to families in need.

  • You can also select a floor seat instead of a high chair. Either way, it’s a complimentary add on. If you’ve selected a high-chair or chair booster as a complimentary add-on, please make sure your accommodation has room for it. If we arrive and there’s no room for it, unfortunately we won’t be able to set it up for you.

  • Ear muffs are great for little ears at loud events and concerts. Their main purpose is noise reduction. Never use during sleep or as a toy and always use under adult supervision. 

  • Yes, as an additional add-on. Our blackout blinds are 300cm x 145cm or 200 cm x 140 cm. We recommend double checking that your accommodation will be suitable for them. We’ll stick them up in the most appropriate room for your baby to sleep but you’re welcome to move them. Please don’t cut these to size so that other families can use them.

  • Only the nappies and wipes. Everything else should only be used for the duration of your stay.

    If you would like to leave some nappies and wipes behind, we’ll donate them to The Nappy Collective – a charity that distributes nappies to families in need.
